Hello, I'm Rich.

If we've never met before, you're probably wondering who'll be behind the camera on the day of your session. That's a fair question, especially when you're considering an experience as personal as boudoir.

Over the years, I've photographed everything from families and weddings to concerts, fashion, and commercial brands. Every chapter taught me something different, but one lesson has remained the same. Almost everyone believes they're awkward in front of a camera until someone takes the time to show them otherwise.

That's where I come in.

You don't need to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands. I'll guide you through every pose, every movement, and every expression from beginning to end. As you become more comfortable, my direction naturally becomes lighter, allowing the session to feel less like a photoshoot and more like a genuine reflection of who you are. Some of my favorite photographs happen in those moments, when you've stopped thinking about the camera altogether.

I believe the best boudoir photographs aren't created by asking you to become someone else. They're created by helping you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. That's the experience I strive to create for every woman who trusts Dark Horse Boudoir with her story.

I'm based in Washington and regularly photograph clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, but I'm always excited to travel. Whether your session takes place close to home or across the country, my goal is the same: to create photographs you'll be proud to look back on for years to come.
